Cairn and Cloud: collective expression of trauma and hope, in the Zhou B Art Center, May-June, 2015, is the Cairn Project's first  of eight installations. Visit the Cairn Project Online Archive for much more about the project.

At each of eight installation sites, an event has been held for participants and supporters to gather and appreciate their contribution to an installation that gained weight and momentum throughout the two and a half years of the active Cairn Project. At most of these gatherings, BodyCompass Dance Project, directed by Sarah Gottlieb, performed Tones of Belonging, a roaming installation of bodies that takes a hard look at the living effects of sexual trauma, highlighting the body as the keeper of memory, guardian of secrets, and an avenue for strength and forgiveness.
